Stitchdown Farm is hiring 2 Field Crew Florist positions for the 2026 growing season to add to our existing 3 woman farmer and floristry team.
Applicants should have prior farming, landscaping or manual labor experience with preference to applicants who also have experience in event freelancing. Ideally they love to weed, are fast and efficient workers, reliable, self motivated to learn flower farming, proactive, a team player who can also work independently, a willingness to take direction as well as problem solve and ask questions. Field crew Florist positions will primarily be responsible for the production in the fields and weekly mixed bouquet arrangements. Weekend wedding design work will be offered on a case by case basis to those with experience or with mad hustle design skills.
housing is not available on farm, assistance in securing local housing will be provided.

Monday - Friday, 1/2 Day Saturday
1 wk PTO with full season commitment
Farming Responsibilities Include:
Bucket washing
Transplanting
Morning harvest management
Greenhouse management
Watering
Seedling management
Flower Harvesting
Vegetable harvesting
Weeding
Trellising
Shit slinging
Irrigation rodeo star
Flower harvesting
Weeding
Landscape fabric laying
Wheelbarrow operation
Flower drying
Vegetable processing
Weeding
Flower harvesting
Weeding
Arrange weekly bouquets for wholesale retail accounts (coops etc.)
Arrange weekly Flower Club bunches
Arrange bouquets for the farm stand
Clean & Organize floral design studio
Assist in cleaning, schlepping and all the unglamourous bits of flowering
POTENTIAL FLORISTING RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Wholesale deliveries, pickups and bucket wedding deliveries
Washing buckets
Prepping vases
Scraping the crud off of one million candlestick holsters
Making sicknasty playlists
Processing flowers
Internet searches
Wedding cleanup on Sundays
